2010 Oktoberfest Cincinnati kicks off – FOX19
CINCINNATI (FOX19) – Fall may be just a couple days away, but everything was summery at the 2010 Oktoberfest Cincinnati opening ceremonies and parade on and around Fountain Square.
An alpenhorn fanfare and Mayor Mark Mallory greeted the visitors. As FOX19 meteorologist emceed.
His services weren’t much needed din the weather area. The weather was just about perfect: clear, dry and 76 degrees, with a high expected in the low 80′s.
Besides food and music, visitors were looking forward to the World Bratwurst Eating champion ship at 3 p.m. Saturday featuring eating champion Joey Chestnut, and the World’s Largest Chicken Dance at Noon, Sunday, led by local MMA star Rich Franklin.
