2011 Hyundai Equus (Photos, Video) Reviews of New Luxury Offering
The US super luxury car market will have a new option with the 2011 Hyundai Equus. The car is “intelligent luxury” according to Hyundai and is a large sedan that offers some amenities from the super luxury class for tens of thousands of dollars less than Lexus or Acura.
Hyundai now says it will be offered in the U.S. by 2011.
Though no exact price is yet released a range has been announced, US News and World Reports reveals that though the Equus sells for as much as $ 96,000 in foreign markets, Hyundai is said to be studying a pricetag in the $ 50,000 to $ 60,000 range for the American market.
According to the Car Connection: the car offers the “ultimate customer service. Hyundai dealers will come to owners to service the car, fetching it rather than having them drop it off.”
A third drive review is here. The report notes: “They’ll also deliver the new Equus with an Apple iPad that contains the owner’s manual, and an application to set up service appointments.”
