Orlando Ledbetter The Atlanta Journal-Constitution NEW ORLEANS -- Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon had a severe case of cramping and was taken to the locker room on a golf cart during the overtime session on Sunday, but some fluids and a 27-24 victory over New Orleans did a lot for his recovery. "I was just locking up," said Weatherspoon, the team's 2009 first-round draft pick. "I feel much better know." Weatherspoon, making his third NFL start, was drafted in part because of his coverage skills and his ability to play in spaces against teams like the Saints. He had seven tackles and a quarterback hit against New Orleans. He wasn't a liability in coverage and had a couple of other big hits in his first game in the Superdome. The Dallas Cowboys entered the game really, really needing a victory. And while they faced a difficult circumstance -- a road game against one of the hottest teams in the NFL in the early season -- the Cowboys overcame a slow start offensively and pulled away for a 27-13 victory over the Houston Texans in front of an emotional crowd of 71,456 at Reliant Stadium Sunday. The victory prevented the Cowboys, a preseason Super Bowl favorite, from slipping to 0-3. No team ever has won the Super Bowl after an 0-3 start. The Texans lost for the first time this season, and struggled to stop the Cowboys defensively. They also lost sole possession of the AFC South as the Tennessee Titans pulled away for a victory over the New York Giants. Eastbound And Down Season 2 Premiere Tonight On HBO Posted on 26. Danny McBride stars as the famous Kenny Powers, a former Major League Baseball player who returned to his hometown to teach physical education in season one.
