Nocturnal 2010 Festival: Glow Santa Monica To Entertain Many

Tonight marks the date of the Nocturnal 2010 Art Festival, and this year’s theme is entitled Glow Santa Monica.
There are several entertainers that will be performing at Nocturnal 2010.
Last year, at the first Nocturnal Art Festival, over 200,000 were in attendance.
Unfortunately, Glow Santa Monica will not have as many artists performing this year compared to the first event. The organizer of Nocturnal 2010, Jessica Cusick, states that the economic recession has caused a lower projection for participants. Therefore, there was a limited budget for the performers.
It is estimated that the official event, Glow 2010, which many are referring to as Glow Santa Monica, will draw around 100,000 visitors. Anything above that figure is said to be a surprise, given that consumers are saving their funds as opposed to spending them on events like concerts, sports, and other forms of entertainment.
It is believed that Nocturnal 2010 will only have about 20 projects, or performances, which is down from the 27 last year. Overall, the goal of Glow Santa Monica is to attract artists that “promote a social environment,” states artistic director Marc Pally.
The Nocturnal 2010: Glow Santa Monica takes place in California this evening, and many are excited to see the turnout given last year’s success.
