‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ and ‘New York’ renewed for another season
Bravo renewed The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Real Housewives of New York, the network announced Tuesday. The current season of the New Jersey girls will end with Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion next Monday.
Part 1 of the Jersey girls’ reunion, which aired Monday, attracted attention over a physical fight between Danielle Staub and Teresa Guidice. When Staub told Guidice that she barely acknowledged her own nephew, Guidice jumped out of her chair and screamed in Staub’s face, “Do not bring up my family!”
When Bravo’s Andy Cohen tried to mediate, Guidice pushed him down in his chair and continued ranting at Staub before Staub ran off the stage. As Glee‘s Chr
Chris Colfer described on his Twitter: “The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion makes Avatar look like a high school production of Paint Your Wagon.”
The Real Housewives of New York will return for its fourth season. The show’s last season centered largely on the disintegration of Bethenny Frankel’s and Jill Zarin’s friendship. Frankel announced yesterday she will not be returning to the show, though the network says she is contractually obligated to make a few appearances. Neither show’s cast has been confirmed.
The Real Housewives of New York begins filming September 20th. Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion show airs Sept. 6th at 9:00 p.m. CST on Bravo (Comcast Ch. 50 in Little Rock).
