‘Shaq Vs. Justin Bieber/Jimmy Kimmel’: Season 2 Finale
Season 2 of Shaquille O’Neal’s reality TV series “Shaq Vs.” came to an end last night, with Shaquille facing not one challenger but two. The NBA star not only challenged 16-year old singing sensation Justin Bieber in last night’s episode, but he also challenged TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
Although both challenges were quite entertaining, the part with Jimmy Kimmel was possibly the more entertaining segment. Shaq challenged Kimmel to a comedy monologue for his part, and according to Hal Boedeker at orlandosentinel.com, the jokes they told were about each other.
Shaquille hit out at Kimmel by saying that the only time he runs, is when he hears the music from the ice cream truck. Kimmel then fought back by saying: “Shaq’s last album went aluminum.” He then added: “Shaq is a terrible actor, although I did like him in ‘Precious.’”
At the end of the challenge, the audience declared Kimmel the winner. In order to take on young Bieber, O’Neal worked with the singer’s dancers. However, the two stars also bowled, went swimming together and played basketball. It finished with Shaq joining Justin onstage for an encore.
